I just added several new features that let you get to stuff on our site a lot easier.
The first little upgrade that lets you navigate through our blog and photos at the top and bottom through “<<< Prev" and "Next >>>” links. The links note the context you’re in and take that into account, so if you’re looking at one blog, previous and next take you to the next blog. If you’re looking at a whole month, previous and next take you to the next month.
The next is the tags on the right. All tags are listed in the sidebar. Click on a tag and you’ll see all of the posts related to that tag. The previous and next links work within the tag too, which is cool. I have tagged a month or so worth of pictures so that you can see all of Bethany’s pictures or all of Timothy’s pictures in one swing. More tags to come as I get the chance to go back through the archive.

Why is it that you have to have your tray tables up and your seats in the full upright positions for takeoff and landing? Why does it make a difference? The mysteries we ponder.
Also, why are we more comfortable going directly to some percieved authority than dealing with a problem like adults? I just saw a woman in front of me page a flight attendant to tell him something about the man sitting next to her. I didn’t hear the exchange, but the flight attendant didn’t say a word, and the man got up and went to the back of the plane to take a new seat. Why didn’t this woman just ask the man to move?
I do the same things. It’s much easier to be indirect and let someone else “do their job” by doing your job for you. Well, my goal is to take more responsibility this week. We’ll see how it goes.

They go on for as far as I can see to my left. I’m sitting in the airplane on my way to Philadelphia and enjoying a little time to relax before the week ahead.
The morning started off a little poorly. I, for the fourteenth time, set my alarm but forgot to *actually* turn it on. This poses a problem when you wake up at the time you said you’d be *at* your coworker’s house to pick him up so you can both make your flight. Oh, it’s terrible.

“…not a soul in site.”
groan
I’m sitting in my bedroom, awake. This is because I went to sleep at 9:00 PM. I can’t tell you the last time I did that. But now my body says “Hey! Wake up! I won’t let you sleep for hours and hours!! That’s not how it works when you’re a dad!”
Oh… *sigh*
I’m heading to Philidelphia on Monday morning for the week. Another business trip. It will be quite crazy to have another week away from the family. I’m kinda sad about the whole thing. It’s good professionally, and if the travel stops after March, I think everything will be okay.
3:30 in the morning is going to come too early on Monday morning, though… my flight leaves at 5:30.. ick.
