So last Friday at the gig (which went great, by the way), we all got to put a song or two on a CD that we played between our sets. Tom put on a song called “Reset” by a band called Mutemath. They’re really weird–but amazingly cool!
There is currently a clip on their site of them performing “Reset” live. The interesting thing is that it is nearly a Techno song as it is–but they REALLY pull it off… amazingly. At the end, they play this homemade instrument they like to call “The Atari”… very cool to make your own instrument–and very bizarre.
I think they’re coming through Texas in November. Check ‘em out if you get the chance… they look super cool.

That’s what we’re going to be doing tonight.. Well. Not really. We’re not going to scare the pants off of anybody, but I do think we might wake up some little old ladies.
We’re going to play electric for the first time in nearly a year. Maybe more. It’s pretty exciting to get to set up a full kit… I hope people can feel it–I hope it’s a good show.
Hole in the Wall, Round Rock is in for a Rocking tonight!

This is just too hilarious. What’s with the look the guy on the left gives the guy on the right towards the end of the song? It’s almost creepy!
