It’s pretty enlightening to see how much waiters and waiteresses depend on tips, especially since it appears that 15% tips are expected. Anything even slightly less than that and you’re a “cheap bastard.” 20% and you’re a “good tipper” — but not great — that title is reserved for the 25-100% tippers.
Honestly, it seems REALLY silly to base your service on the amount you SPEND in a restaurant. Shouldn’t it be on what service you require? Spend an hour somewhere, take up 1/4 of a waiter’s time, the Tip should be between $5 and $15 for any bill in a medium level restaurant. 30 minutes and they take your order and refill your water once? $3 - $5. Doesn’t that just make more sense? Price goes up in better restaurants that attract better servers.
Whadya do.

He is now walking for long enough periods of time that we can take a picture of him standing there.
