As we wait for Bethany to show up… Timothy is obivious. Keys are as entertaining (or moreso) than anything he got for Christmas. Kids are ironical that way. :)

ick off the festivities, then came home, had soup (Fagioli), and homemade bread (mmmm!). We opened up Christmas Eve gifts and chilled out for a bit. Timothy decided to wake up at 12:30. Andrea and I were stressed for several reasons and Nana wasn’t going back to sleep anytime soon so she stayed up with him and he eventually went back down around 3:00 AM. He was tired, but he couldn’t breathe–poor baby. We got up around 7:30 and had cinnamon rolls. Then we opened gifts. My parents got us a Freezer, which was a very thoughtful thing to do–mostly because of the box it came in, which Timothy has converted into his play pen. We watched movies, played games, and had a great, relaxing day. Andrea got Carcasonne for me and we’ve had a great time playing it. If you ever get the chance, it’s a great 2-5 person game that doesn’t take long to learn or play. Excellent. Timothy got a ukulele, which, as far as he is concerned is a little Guitar. He loves it an carries it around very cutely.

On Boxing Day (the first weekday after Christmas, by the way), my parents left early to deliver some accidentally left items to my sister before she went off to Arkansas for her basketball tourney. We relaxed, had a great day, and got 80% the Christmas decorations down by noon.

It was a great Christmas… now I’m just hoping news about Bethany will be the next blog I write…
